Temporary removal and reinstatement of several air conditioning units to allow new process machinery to be installed

About This Project

This process factory was bringing in new production machinery, and several existing air conditioning units sat directly in the way. With no downtime permitted on site, the units had to be decommissioned, safely removed and reinstated around a live manufacturing environment. Our engineers isolated each unit, recovered the refrigerant in line with FGAS regulations, and carefully removed the indoor and outdoor units, pipework and cabling ahead of the machinery installation. Once the new equipment was in place, the units were refitted, pressure tested, recharged and recommissioned. Production continued uninterrupted throughout, and the factory had full air conditioning back in operation within two days.
