A fair bit of landscaping was needed first before we could pour concrete for a base, in preparation for the new chiller.

The client had an existing chiller on the roof that could not stop running for longer than 5 minutes as it’s used for process cooling and down time would mean that the entire production line comes to a grinding stop. As the existing system had 2 water pumps, we isolated 1 and cut into the pipework to run a new set of pipes down to the new ground floor chiller.

Some manufacturer modifications were needed as we have an open loop water circuit. We got the new chiller up and running without any down time what so ever. Job well done and thank you to all the engineers involved.
